3x3 Intermediate

Intermediate

The intermediate isn’t really a set method of doing the cube – it’s more of a stepping stone on the way to learning the full advanced (Fridrich) method. I still use some of this method when solving the cube, and I can achieve times of less than 30 seconds with it.
Before you try to learn it, I recommend being very proficient at the beginner method. You don’t have to, but I find that people need a decent understanding of the cube before they change their method of doing it. This understanding simply comes from practice. If I remember correctly, I was achieving times of about 2 minutes before I learnt the intermediate method and, through practice, started to achieve times between a minute and a minute and a half.
